The Course-Instructor Opinion Survey (CIOS) is designed to capture students’ perceptions of their learning experiences within the classroom. The data is used by faculty and other Institute stakeholders to inform improvements in the teaching and learning process. Students are invited to participate in the CIOS at the end of each term.
The CIOS provides feedback to Instructors to help them improve the teaching and learning process in their course(s). CIOS data also supports Administrators in decision-making regarding teaching and learning, and as part of the promotion and tenure process.
All students enrolled in GA Tech classes are asked to participate each semester.
