This assessment project is part of a program sponsored by the office of fraternity/sorority life. The program, Redefining Brotherhood/Redefining Sisterhood is a program that relies upon a pre-prog ram assessment designed to measure the varying schema of brother/sisterhood as described by McCreary and Schutts (2015) and Cohen, Schutts and McCreary (2017, 2018). These data will be collected electronically, compiled into chapter presentations, and used to facilitate the workshops.
By virtue of their participation in the research, participants will be able to able to review their fraternity/sorority chapter’s composite data as it relates to the measured variables of brotherhood/sisterhood. There are no other benefits or compensation associated with the assessment project.

· The coordinating campus office provides the email addresses and student first names to the researchers.
· The researchers develop a recruitment email that personalizes the invitation to participation (e.g., Dear “Sue,”). All students receive the same recruitment email.
· An initial invitation to participate is sent to the entire population of students.
· Survey completion is tracked within the Alchemer (Survey Gizmo) software to prevent repeated invitations to participate from being sent to participants who have already done so. Participants may opt out of reminder emails at no penalty to themselves or their organization. Typically, two or three follow up reminder emails are sent prior to the study closing. The survey administration period is determined with the coordinating campus office.
